About TryQRNow

TryQRNow is a free QR code generator paired with a library of plain-English guides. The site exists to solve one problem well: help people create a QR code that actually scans on the first try, and understand where and how to use it. Every tool is free, needs no account, and works on any modern phone or desktop browser.

How our QR generator works (and why it is private)

Every code you make on TryQRNow is generated entirely inside your own browser. When you click generate, the QR image is drawn on your device using open-source code — the text, links, Wi-Fi passwords, or contact details you enter are never sent to our servers, stored, or logged. Because the tools run client-side, they also keep working offline once the page has loaded. The codes you download are standard, static QR codes: they do not expire, and there is no tracking pixel or redirect service in the middle.

What we publish

How we create our guides

Our guides are written in-house and focus on practical, tested advice rather than filler. We review technical details — such as sizing, error correction, and scan reliability — before publishing, and we update articles when guidance changes. You can read the full standard in our Editorial Policy. If you spot an error, we want to fix it: email us the page URL and the problem and we will review it.

Who this site is for

TryQRNow is built for small businesses, event organizers, hosts, creators, and anyone who needs a working QR code without signing up for a subscription. If you are new to QR codes, a good place to start is How to Create a QR Code for Free or Are QR Codes Safe?.

How this site is operated

TryQRNow is independently operated by BJH Labs. For service, correction, or policy questions, contact [email protected]. We aim to respond to genuine enquiries as quickly as we can.
